457 – Senior HVAC Technical Supervisor

£50k - £60k per annum + benefits + Pension + Holidays + Car / Car Allowance + Training and Development

Reports to Commercial Director  /  Based in Hampshire

My client is looking for a senior HVAC Supervisor to join their busy, sociable team!

The role will support the commercial team in the delivery of commercial HVAC projects and supervise field engineer teams which should be commercially driven to maximize revenue and have the client at the centre of all projects.

You will be/have:  

• IT literate with packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent people management skills
• Good knowledge of quality assurance systems
• Recognized Health and Safety training
• Proven track record delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
• Good practical and working knowledge of commercial heating / cooling systems
• F gas Experience / Gas qualification and experience Full driving licence
• NVQ 3 in relevant M&E discipline (or equivalent)

Day to day duties include:

• Technical site & customer management and provide technical and practical support to engineers
• Attend site surveys and assist the sales team with technical design of temporary solution
• Quoting works giving detailed RAMS documents for clients and the sales team
• Ensure labour resources are planned, work with the operational team and coordinate projects
• Assist in development of new HVAC products, project manage in house boiler build programme
• Provide supervisory role to site staff, directing and managing staff directly
• Ensure interruptions/disturbances managed and minimized
• Ensure customers are kept aware of work progress and any difficulties or changes
• Support technical standards and operational policies from site survey to off hire 
• Planning and management of all installation projects
• Support the design, planning, costing, building and implementation of boiler plant
• Ownership of technical standards and operational policies from site survey to off hire
