£24k - £28k dependent on Experience + Commission

My client, a growing Portsmouth based IT consultancy with an excellent reputation is looking for a new business professional with a ‘hunter type’ attitude with a desire to make excellent commission and progress in their business to join them. 

You will have a proven track-record in B2B sales & an ability to open doors, pitch and close sales with the support of the technical team to SME businesses in the South across a variety of industry sectors.  Core clients are 20 -user to 150-user organisations and they are looking for someone to generate a sustainable flow of new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Work in a new business capacity, developing new customers from previous relationships and prospecting into SME businesses as required.
  • Successfully articulate to customers the advantages of adopting cloud services, IT transformation projects and/or managed IT Services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets 
  • Where applicable, recommend and sell appropriate offerings from portfolio to the customer, usually through their senior IT management
  • Have previous experience of selling across sectors
  • Desirable - Be experienced in responding to formal tenders
  • Desirable – A passion for marketing and to be able to grow and focus on outbound marketing campaigns to fill the pipeline

You will have at least 12 months B2B Sales experience and client facing sales experience and a passion for troubleshooting, technology and finding solutions to IT issues within SME Businesses.
