363 – Key Account Manager / Account Director

Hampshire / Dorset / Surrey / Berkshire Based

£40k - £50k – Double OTE £100k after year 1

My client, a Hampshire Based technology company is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage their largest account during an exciting period acting as a consultant to their business & maximising on any potential solutions that the client could use. It’s for someone wide eyed who can spot opportunity for development of services and products as challenges occur.

  • You will move between HQ of this client (West Sussex) and your own company HQ (Hampshire) so the borders of these areas would be ideal.
  • Your key contacts will be contracts managers, procurement, IT Leads and Director Levels within this client on multiple projects. (10 – 15 key accounts)
  • Seek out new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timescales
  • Deliver consistently against targets
  • Accurately forecast sales by month and quarter
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required and in line with company guidelines
  •  You do this by focusing on a great end user experience and making sure that you handle all aspects of the relationship with the client.

 

You will have experience with.

  • Delivering extensive success in a Key Account where order values are over £500k (AOV)
  • Have run £1mill+ T/Over clients who are national known brands
  • You will have a strong persona who is able to maximise on opportunity and successfully lead the client to understanding the full-service proposition.
  • Be technically savvy where you can outline requirements to development teams / technical teams for the operational / successful output
  • Background in Epos, Payments, Loyalty Cards etc. (Desirable)
  • Background and understanding of target market segment
  • Experience selling at senior management and business owner level
