Head of Sales / Sales Director / Sales Leader

Remote Working (Midlands or South Preferential) but visits to Hampshire Office

£80k per annum + Bonus + Car Allowance + Pension + Holidays + Training and Development + Other

Reports to CCO

Our client, a technology and payment solutions company based in the UK is looking for 2 x Key Account Managers to join their ranks and aid in the business growth going into the latter end of 2021. Their key solutions include point of sale, payment and retail loyalty solutions and they have a range of products and solutions to aid retail nationally and internationally.  The sales management of these customers and the sales team is central to the long-term success and growth of the business.

 

The role of Sales Manager is therefore one of the highest profile roles within the organisation

Working closely with the CCO (and other executives) and managing a team of up to 6 people, you will need to

  • Formulate business Strategies for the sales team and have a detailed plan of delivery
  • Ensure the business is focused and clear on what is needed to deliver those strategies through liaison with the CCO and other head stakeholders
  • Manage the delivery of the strategy, forecast and report accordingly through HubSpot
  • Identify market opportunities to deliver new capabilities and potentially new territories
  • Ensure the contracts are negotiated to maximise the profit overseeing salespeople and account managers
  • Develop new revenue streams with the development teams
  • Liaise with the head of marketing to ensure the interests of the two functions are aligned

 

You will be:

  • An experienced Sales Leader with a proven ability of delivering large revenue growth in technology environment
  • Able to manage medium sized remote sales teams with performance plans to engage and deliver new projects and upsell existing large enterprise accounts
  • Exposure to planning and project management
  • Prior people management experience and examples of where success has been
  • Financial understanding to enable account profitability to be understood
  • A hunger and excitement to work for a fast-growing business
  • A willingness to roll-up sleeves, be flexible, and take responsibility on all account related matters
