This appointment will be to strengthen the existing management team to drive the business through a period of high growth, capitalising on the opportunities to treble the size of the business
The Job Role:
As General Manager, you will have the following duties:
· Develop commercial strategy with the sales team and driving marketing, customer services and sales opportunities.
· Understand new markets and grow the business in the UK.
· Manage the day-to-day business operations and provide supervision and support to company staff, recognising that this is an SME so there will be the necessity to roll your sleeves up and get involved
· Take full responsibility for the company’s financial performance including profit and loss.
· Monitor and report on business and financial performance.
· Improve operational activities & drive improvements across the business
The Requirements:
To be suitable for the position of General Manager, ideally you will have the following:
· Extensive commercial / business development and marketing experience with a successful track record is essential.
· Experience within workplace solutions, manufacturing & running a 360 service
· You must have experience dealing with customers, managing their expectations and building strong relationships.
· A background working with suppliers internationally and UK in general would be desirable.
The Package:
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager will receive the following:
· Package in the region of £60k (Negotiable)
· Sales related bonus

Other job titles may include MD, Operations Director, CEO, COO, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer. Although locally based, there will be a necessity to travel throughout the country in respect of the sales aspects of the role
