Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager 

Sector: Lighting Industry  - London and The Midlands 

£25k - £40k per annum + Bonus Scheme =  On Target Earning - £70k Circa

My lighting client, a SME growing company with an excellent product range, a fantastic technical support team who currently are delivering on a multitude of exciting products in commercial, retail and industrial are looking to grow their headcount from 3 to 4 sales people in 2020. 

They don't like to micromanage - so are looking for a competent and self motivated BDM to drive business and Key Account Manage their clients in this sector.  Huge emphasis will be on Office Lighting and Commercial. They have an existing database of prospects but are open to relationships in other sectors.  You will have the autonomy to drive your own revenue! 

The management style is very hands on and leading from the front so in this dynamic business, decisions are made quickly, fulfilment is done proactively & earning potentials are highly achievable and are able to provide customers with a significant cost advantage without compromising on quality or after sales service.

 

You, as the London and Midlands BDM day to day responsibilities include; 

  • Drive growth of revenue with excellent opportunities at a profitable margin
  • Account manage own and existing clients ensuring relationships are of the highest level
  • Develop both direct and indirect sales channels from your network and from new avenues 
  • Self-Lead Generation to open new doors - as required above Key Accounts to achieve targets 
  • Help define a Sales / Marketing Strategy for each Sales Channel 
  • Develop Knowledge of the LED Market Space & prospect markets​

You will have at least 2 - 5 years in a field based sales capacity in the LED lighting industry with a demonstrable track record at winning new business and relationship building with key accounts. Yearly targets and Earning Potential in detail at application stage.
